Happy Birthday to me!

Hi Reader, I took a break from One More Game and edits to celebrate my birthday earlier this week. The Vieux Dublin on Cathcart is one of my favorite places in Montreal. Before you ask, yes, the Bottom Stone took a little from it as well as other public houses I’ve visited over the years. I prefer pubs to upscale restaurants. The atmosphere is friendlier and the menus can be quite tasty, Michelin stars or not. If you've never had a Reuben poutine, you're missing out... We went for lunch so there was no live music but you’ll hear no complaints from me: I was let loose in a bookstore with a gift card afterward… Can you really make a day more perfect than that? The answer is yes, with chocolate cheese cake... Since the pile of books on my dresser doubled in size, your TBR list should too. You can escape into Romance with one of the free reads in this group. It includes a bit of everything, from sweet contemporary to steamy fantasy. Intimacy in books is not to everyone’s tastes. Several of mine include explicit scenes. I’ve marked which one on my webpage. Look for the hearts ! Heat Level in my books : ♡ Sweet and clean One More Game rates at 1 single heart. What can I say, Nate is obsessed with his hockey... And Morgan is not the kiss&tell type. Even if her best friend keeps demanding details! Happy reading, |

Zdeno Chara (2025 Hockey Hall of Fame inductee) holds the record for fastest shot at 108.8 mph (NHL All-Star Game’s skills competition, 2012). Hello Reader, I first drafted One More Game (under a different title) fifteen years ago. Then I honestly forgot about it. It came back to me during the Milan Hockey Finale last February. More precisely, I...
Hello Reader, Summer is well under way and we are all looking for some light (or dramatic) reading to enjoy. According to the chart below, I am a loyalist. My TBR can be a mile long and yet I'll go back to something I've already read, because the story "fits". Cozy mysteries, breathless adventures, fantasy, the list is endless. Two of my favorite romances to revisit include Agatha Christie's "The Man in the Brown Suit" and Nora Roberts' "Carolina Moon". What about you? What kind of reader are...
